Hey guys! Maggie here, back with another blog post and this time, we are talking all about skincare! If you didn’t know, I am a licensed esthetician! Currently, I am not in a salon using my license, but its still a huge passion of mine!
Skincare can be scary! Its hard to know what exactly your skin needs and you want to get good stuff for your skin and that can be pricy at times, so I want to recommend you guys some good skincare that I believe is wort very penny, but isn’t going to break your bank at the same time!
So going right into it, if you are someone who doesn’t have any type of skincare routine, I firmly believe that you need these three products – Cleanser, Moisturizer, SPF. If you can only get three things PLEASE get these three! you will need a cleanser to get off all excess dirt, makeup, oil and dead skin (depending on what type you get). and i think a moisturizer and SPF are pretty self explanatory. No matter what type of skin you have, you need to keep it moisturized. A myth a lot of people believe is if you have oily skin you don’t need to moisturize but its actually the opposite! your skin is producing more oil than it needs because your skin thinks its not getting enough moisture and its trying to make up for that. They make TONS of good moisturizers out there to help with your oiliness, and using a cleanser with it will make it even better because then your able to get all the excess oil off your skin and right after, be able to moisturize it so your skin can actually feel that it is getting moisturized! And last but not least, SPF. Did you know that 80% of skin damage comes from the sun!!! EIGHTY PERCENT!!! So that means even if you use allllll the anti aging skincare in the world, if you aren’t using sunscreen regularly in your routine, all that work is going to go to waste because you aren’t protecting it from the #1 aging cause!
